TAYLOR'S MUSIC GENRE

Taylor Swift began is carrer as a contemporary country music artist. After realesing her second album, she began to sing more pop music but never losing her country style.
  • Country music: Country music often consists of ballads and dance tunes with generally simple forms and harmonies accompanied by mostly string instruments such as banjoselectric and acoustic guitarsfiddles, and harmonicas
We can find Taylor Swift as a country music artist mostly because of the instruments that she uses in her songs; like acoustic and electric guitar, bajos, tambourines, and harmonicas that are some of the typical instruments of country music. Also, we can characterized her as a country music artist because of the lyrics and the melody that she uses in her songs. The lyrics in a country music song are often about love or relationships. And that is what exactly Taylor does in her songs, she puts her feelings and experiences with a catchy and simple melody that is typical of country music.

Taylor's country music songs:

10. “Tim McGraw” From, Taylor Swift.

9. “The Best Day” From, Fearless.

8. “Fifteen” From, Fearless.

7. “White Horse” From, Fearless.

6. “Picture to Burn” From, Taylor Swift.

5. “Our Song” From, Taylor Swift.

4. “Love Story” From, Fearless.

3. “Invisible” From, Taylor Swift.

2. “You Belong with Me” From, Fearless.

1. “Teardrops on My Guitar”  From, Taylow Swift.

  • Pop music: As a genre, pop music is very eclectic, often borrowing elements from other styles including urbandancerockLatin and country;nonetheless, there are core elements which define pop. Such include generally short-to-medium length songs, written in a basic format (often the verse-chorus structure), as well as the common employment of repeated choruses, melodic tunes, and catchy hooks.

We can find Taylor as a pop music artist since her third album came out; she began to write more to her young fanbase. With inspired lyrics, faster and catchy melody, and electrical effects. Although she sings more often pop, she never loses her contemporary country style, that's why her music is different and quite singular and popular.

INTRODUCTION

Hi! In this blog you will find everything you need to know about Taylor Swift.
I did this blog about her, because she's a musician that I like so much, she's and song-writer singer and that is one of the reasons why like her the most. I like her music because she tells a story in every song and video she realise; she's more inclined to pop/country music and that makes her songs have and unique style; plus her way to show them to the world is gripping and different each time. She's caracterized for her narrative songs about her experiences as a teenager and young adult, her sweet and caring personality, her amazing talent, and her acttitud when she signs and perform. She also, is one of the best-seller musicians of this age. She's an increible vocal singer and performer.
So, hope you like it!
